About the Role
Opus ABA is growing and looking for a BCBA to join our team in Aberdeen, SD. You'll provide clinical oversight, design treatment plans, and help shape how we deliver compassionate, evidence-based ABA services to families in northeast South Dakota.

What You'll Do
- Provide clinical oversight for ABA services and sign off on treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, etc.)
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique strengths and needs
- Help recruit, train, and supervise RBTs as the caseload grows
- Deliver parent training and collaborate with families on goals and progress
- Analyze data to guide treatment decisions and make ongoing plan adjustments
- Participate in insurance credentialing and Medicaid enrollment alongside the founder
- Work directly with the founder on clinical direction, case planning, and practice growth
- Maintain compliance with insurance requirements, BACB guidelines, and ethical standards
- Coordinate with schools, pediatricians, and other providers when appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Individual NPI number
- South Dakota ABA licensure (or willingness to obtain — costs covered by Opus ABA)
- Experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills with families, team members, and other providers
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Reliable transportation for in-home service delivery
- Comfort working in a startup environment where you'll wear multiple hats early on
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical experience as a BCBA (new BCBAs welcome with strong fieldwork experience)
- Experience with early intervention (ages 2-6)
- Supervision experience with RBTs
- Familiarity with insurance authorization processes (Medicaid, BCBS, etc.)
- Experience with telehealth or hybrid service delivery models
